I have window Vista and my bank gave me free Mcafee that after 7 month is not protecting?

the comp anymore, the virus scan and spyweare are turned off and it can't be fixed. What should I do? should I unistalled Mcafee and how will I get antivirus and protection against spyware and malware?

Comodo firewall+avira antivir+spyware terminator all of them are free and are excellent choices. I only add spywareblaster to that combo.
