it's becoming increasingly difficult to downoad free music online (no joke!) albumbase.com is one of the latest big sites to have been shut down, anyway here's a small tip list I made for my friend recently:

http://www.megaupload.com/ - Upload albums (albums deleted after 90 days if no-one downloads them)

http://www.mediafire.com/ - Upload albums (No restrictions, albums never get deleted)

[insert artist/album name] "rapidshare" (The best way to find an album)

[insert artist/album name] "www.mediafire" (Less albums, but links are never dead)

or

"you have requested" [artist/album name] "www.mediafire" (album name works better)

[insert artist/album name] "www.megaupload" (2nd best way to find an album)

OR

[insert artist/album name] rar (or zip) (Works best with bigger bands with recent albums)

These tips search all the blogs and sites, so me linking to individual sites is pretty irrelevant
