How do i get free sound drivers for my computer?

I ran a antivirus scan on my computer and at the end my sound was gone.

i tryed running a troobleshooting but there is no more sound drivers.

my computer is a windows xp.

i dont know any other info.

Find out the manufacturer of your sound card and go to their website. Drivers should be there. If not, then contact their customer support.

Go to the manufacture site of your computer and download them there, go into drivers and downloads. It is free.
go to microsoft.com and find a sound drive to download or maybe your speakers are broken.

To find what kind of sound card you have:

1. click on start

2. click run

3. type in dxdiag

4. and go to the sounds tab
Find out what you sound card is and down load the drivers for it you can also down load driver magic that down loads all your drivers automatically.
