Do i have to much protection on my computer?

on all of my computers i have

1. antivir (antivirus)

2. a squared free (spyware protection)

3. spybot (spyware protection)

4. spyware blaster (spyware protection) non scanner just blocks spyware

5. ad aware se personal (spyware protection)

and should i install windows defender?

You have excellent protection as long as you are using a firewall. And ,no, you do not have too much protection, actually I use a lot more.

Windows built-in firewall is not very good at all.

An excellent free and extremely strong firewall is Comodo Personal Firewall. It can pass firewall "leak tests" that even most of the "paid-for" firewalls cannot pass.

Or if you prefer a decent and free firewall that is extremely easy on using your computer's system resources, then Kerio 2.1.5 is just about the lightest firewall there is. Uses about 4 MB RAM on my machine.
